RapRhymes turns pronunciation data into tools for people who write.

Different tasks. Different answers.

Perfect rhymes compare the relevant stressed vowel and following phonemes. Near rhymes allow bounded sound differences. Multisyllabic search checks the entire query’s vowel sequence. Phrase search will appear when reviewed multiword entries are available.

The five-panel workspace

A and B are independent sound banks. Adjacent matches have no intervening syllable; the next panel allows one; wider patterns allow two to six. Leading syllables are allowed. “Anywhere” mode permits internal matches.

Honest evidence

Dots correspond to pronounced syllables, not guessed spelling. They align to words, not exact letter-level syllabification. Match labels describe the algorithm; they are not calibrated confidence percentages.

Built to stay light

Published answers are compiled offline and served as cached pages. The live explorer reads only bounded index shards. No language model, third-party rhyme API, or database query runs on a normal cached page request.

Coverage and limits

The English dictionary uses a pinned CMUdict snapshot. This release has no reviewed phrase entries. The results do not reproduce another product’s data or rankings.
